A delightful Indian flatbread stuffed with mouthwatering egg filling. The warm & flaky paratha wraps around a scrumptious mixture of beaten eggs, onions & spices.
Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup
Salt
1 pinch
Cold Pressed Olive Oil
0.5 Tbsp
Eggs
1 egg
Onion Raw
0.125 cup
Green Chillies
1 chilli
Coriander Leaves
1 Tbsp
Garam Masala
0.25 tsp
Water
0.25 cup
Prep
For the filling - In a bowl, thoroughly whisk together the eggs, onions, chili, coriander leaves, garam masala, and salt.
For the parathas - Make a dough by combining whole wheat flour, salt, oil, and enough water.
Knead well, cover and set the dough aside for 15 to 20 minutes.
Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball evenly into a triangle by rolling it out and folding it twice. To form a triangular sheet, roll it out once more.
Cooking
Heat a tawa ( flat pan) on medium-high or high flame.
Place the rolled paratha on the hot tawa.
As the edges begin to crisp up, quickly cut a slit along the folds of the paratha and pour in half of the egg mixture.
Slightly tilt and flip it over and do the same thing on the other side.
Drizzle some oil and cook the paratha until it is evenly cooked and browned on both sides
