A popular sandwich made with cooked chicken filled between two slices of bread along with toppings such as lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. Shred the chicken for the sandwich filling.
Finely slice the washed green onion stems, celery stem, dill and dill pickle.
Chop the walnuts into pieces.
In a bowl, add mayonnaise, sour cream, dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, and black pepper for the sauce and whisk together until smooth.
Mix the sauce, chicken mixture and the remaining filling ingredients.
To make the sandwich, add the filling to the bread slices, remove the bread crusts if desired and cut them in half.
