A nutritious dish made from cracked wheat (dalia) that is seasoned and cooked with various spices and vegetables, creating a flavorful and wholesome meal.

Cooking
Heat oil or ghee in a pressure cooker.
Add cumin seeds (jeera) and sauté.
Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
Stir in finely chopped green chilies and ginger, and saute until the raw smell of ginger disappears
Add finely chopped tomatoes and cook for one minute.
Add chopped green peas, carrots, and potatoes and cook for two minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the rinsed dalia to the vegetables and stir for three to four minutes over low heat.
Pour in water and add enough salt.
Pressure cook for 10 to 12 whistles on medium flame. Allow the cooker to release pressure naturally before opening the lid.
