A mouthwatering dish made with fresh fish simmered in rich aromatic curry sauce made with a blend of spices, tomatoes, onions & coconut milk.
Mustard Oil

Prep
Soak tamarind in water for 10 mins.
Mix well and squeeze the juice alone, set aside.
Finely chop onions and tomatoes.
Cooking
Heat oil in a pan, and roast onion, dried red chilli, and coriander seeds till golden.
Blend this mixture with coconut and a little water into a fine puree.
Add in mustard seeds and let them pop.
Add in onions, curry leaves, and turmeric and saute till onions turn light golden
Add in tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes turn a little mushy.
Add in the ground masala, water, and tamarind water and boil till oil floats on top.
Now add in fish and cook for 10 mins.
Add garam masala, mix well and serve hot.
