A popular street food snack made by mixing puffed rice & chopped onions, tomatoes, spices, chutneys & peanuts.
Puffed Rice
1.25 cup
Potatoes
1 small
Onion Raw
3 tbsp
Tomatoes
1 small
Cucumber

1 chilli
Coriander Leaves

Prep
Ensure the puffed rice is crisp; if not, dry roast it briefly and set aside.
Boil the potatoes until they are just cooked, cube them, and set aside.
Dry roast the peanuts, remove the skins and set them aside.
Chop the tomatoes, onions, green chillies, and coriander leaves.
Cooking
In a mixing bowl, combine tomatoes, cucumber, onions, potatoes, coriander leaves, and green chillies.
Add salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, and chaat masala.
Squeeze lemon juice into the mixture and stir well.
Mix in the peanuts and puffed rice; toss everything together.
Add sev and serve immediately.
