Time to cook
A creamy and comforting soup made with fresh pumpkin, aromatic spices, fresh herbs garnished with cilantro.
Chop the onion, garlic and rinsed and peeled pumpkin into cubes.
Pressure cook the pumpkin cubes, chopped onions, and garlic with water for a few minutes until the pumpkin is tender. Allow the pressure to release naturally before opening the lid.
Puree the cooled mixture until smooth.
Add the blended pumpkin mixture to the pressure cooker on low to medium heat followed by oregano, thyme, salt and crushed black pepper.
Simmer the soup until heated and serve.
